For the most part, I know how to do this. I am using ResEdit 2.0b2 or (when v 2 seems to crash a lot) 1.3d1. Bring up the menu resource in its default editor. Choose an ICON that has an id between 257 and 511. Save the application. Return to the Finder. All is fine. The icons look great in all applications that I do this. PROBLEM: In Multfinder the icons dont work. The finder icon looks like a generic hand icon. Other applications either take on the Finder/System icon (small mac) or they are complete garbage. Does anyone have a clue what is going wrong. IMHO this would mentally make the Multitasking switch between applications much easier. (The little icon in the bottom of the menu bar grows to a big icon at the top when it is the foreground app). . . . _ _ _ . . . William Moss
