True, although only a few vendors make the glass bulbs for
monitors, and several more make the electronics, these are
available in a WIDE variety of price and resolution
ranges...even say within a given family and dot pitch (the
smallest blert an electron beam can make on the screen) prices
and resolution vary greatly...

This is not to say that lower price brands are not the
equivalent of the big vendors like NEC, Mitsubishi, etc..
