Quite often, it runs out of free disk space in the /usr file system. When this happens, every serial ports hangs, and can't be un-hung without a reboot. I've tried killing the gettys, removing the uugetty lock files, reloading the hpsio microcode, and changing run levels. uucico will connect to the ports, but gets a "generic timeout". Also any existing uucico processes at the time, get hung, and are unaffected by kill -9. Any ideas on how to recover the ports without a reboot? Machine 32/600 System 03.00.01 -- Greg
