Does anybody know what should do if I want to turn off parity checking on
serial ports ?  

a) Can I just use stty command ?
b) Can I use eeprom commnad ?
c) Should I re-configure the kernel ?   

In the configuration file there is one line specifies tty lines.

      device          zs0 at obio ? csr 0x20000 flags 3 priority 3
                                                      ^
                                                what's the number to turn off
					        parity check ?
