I am looking at either a Sun 2, Sun 3 or a 386i. What do people who have used these systems think. Can the 386i use the same cards that PCs do, ie. does it have the ISA bus. What is SunOS 4.0.1 like? BSD 4.[23] or Sys V? Could I compile and run X11R4 easily? How hard is it to add an ethernet card to network it to my 386 box running ESIX Rev. D? I am mainly interested in the 386i but would appreciate pro and cons of it and the other sun models. Thanks Jim Chandler asuvax!xroads!beagle!chandler chandler@beagle.uucp
