Does it exist a standard encoding for language numbers ? 2. How can the virtual fonts of TeX 3.0 help me to support the 8 bit character set ? What modifications are needed ? 3. dvips supports virtual fonts so no problems on this side. Does xtex support them also ? Or what other dvi previewer can I use ? 4. When will an "official" LaTeX with this kind of international support really buid-in come out ? Thank you in advance for your help.
