I can't spell Challenge Summary: How to do this Keywords: Tex Lates, tests, grid Message-ID: Date: 15 Nov 90 03:41:03 GMT Sender: news@noose.ecn.purdue.edu (USENET news) Organization: Purdue University Engineering Computer Network Lines: 43 Well I seem to ask more questions then i answer (Sorry) The Problem: To print a "Grid" pattern of a Given size. reasons: 1) To have a Nice graph paper form to print on overhead projector sheets. 2) To have tests with a little Grid area to have answers involving plots and or drawings. ie. the test would go like.... "The Problem is: $Nice Math eqn$ " Plot the graph of this curve. /grid{3in,8in,.25in} %I'm not sure how ya call macros %I want the above to mean draw a 3x8 Box with a .25 in grid in it. %A \medskip befor and after would be nice. 3) To see how it's best done. Addational "Bonus Points" Have the Grid allow diffrent line thickness/patterns have the grid have 1 in squares with 4 squares per in in a lighter line (light dotted) (kinda like engenering paper) 100PT bonus: Have the Grid Paper be HEX paper. (I have a Need) ------- Well the above MIGHT be very easy, but i've seen no good examples of drawing. and Such, Tho someone sent me a sample doc i haven't had time to look at "YET". Note: I haven't FOUND the LaTeX book YET. So I may be ignorent of its power Thanx. -- yorkw@ecn.purdue.edu Willis F York ---------------------------------------------- Macintosh...
