Now, I have a Digital DEC station 3100 at work, and there is a 3.5' floppy drive built in. The DEC runs on ultrix which is very close to unix, and it also looks very much like a SUN station. The people at Digital said they installed a program that makes the floppy drive MSDOS compatible. So, the problem is, how do I use the floppy drive, and the program. Do I use "tar" or do I use "cp filename /dev/(some device name)"? I tried to call Digital, but the key people are on vacation, so I am tring my luck here. If you know what to do, please send me a note. Thanks in advance. ee231-13@unssun.nevada.edu
