A BREAK would also cause the system to change baud rate. Under 3.2.2, a BREAK seems to be required to change baud rate. The SCO tech support person I spoke with told me that 3.2.0 must have been broken, and 3.2.2 works right: the system should not sync to the baud rate of a call when a carriage return is sent, a BREAK is required to do that. What is your experience? Why shouldn't the system automatically sync to the baud rate using the rate reported by the modem? Should I trash SCO's getty for a different one?
