Message-ID: <1990Nov10.145205.35667@eagle.wesleyan.edu> Date: 10 Nov 90 19:52:05 GMT Lines: 21 I am not having any major problems with the 640x480x256 driver. Why then are other people still reporting bugs? The only things I've noticed are; that sometimes, with something called "Lavalamp," a few lines of graphics spill out of the window, which will go away as soon as you move the window around; and, with Wingif 1.1, The gif is first drawn upside down, but as soon as it is finished, it flips right-side up. And these problems appeared to be not driver bugs, but program bugs... Perhaps it varies from board to board and machine to machine. I have a Gateway 386SX with 2mb ram, and the standard Gateway card, the ATI Vga Wonder 1024, with 512k ram. As far as I know, I have the most current drivers, but I got them from a local BBS, not through the net. What are other people using, and is anyone else having success with these drivers? _______________________________________________________________________________ : Richard : "It's not how much you know, : : Wyckoff : it's how fast you can take in : : Wesleyan University : new information" : :: -Rudy Rucker (or someone, I'm not sure) : -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
