Message-ID: <6830@plains.NoDak.edu> Date: 16 Nov 90 17:46:16 GMT Organization: North Dakota State University, Fargo Lines: 20 Can anyone tell me if it is possible to make Terminal work on a system where there are 2 com ports and an internal modem. The com ports are set with IRQ 4 and 3 respectively. The modem is com 3 and IRQ 5. I have yet to make any microsoft communications (ie kermit, terminal etc) work under this setup but do two the need for two active com ports and a modem the IRQs are set in the only combination which they will work. If I change the IRQ on the modem to 3 or 4 it conflicts with and blocks out use of the respective com port. Any Idea how I can make Terminal (or kermit for that matter) run on an internal modem set at IRQ 5. Please Email Responses Thanks in advance : -- Chris Tjon UUCP: ...!uunet!plains!tjon Box 5224 BITNET: tjon@plains.bitnet Fargo ND 58105-5224 INTERNET: tjon@plains.NoDak.edu 701-232-7678
