Alex, I don't have an answer to your specific question (Wordperfect, Yecchhh :-)... But when I want to find out how a key is mapped, I use xev (/usr/demo/xev if you're running OpenWin)... Hope that helps, and pls ignore this if you've already tried xev... Brian
