That is exactly one reason I decided to get a dog. After having the local buses run over my cane twice while waiting to cross a street I decided at least the dog would see them coming and get it and me out of the path of a reckless bus driver or some of the other wierd drivers on the roads today. Honestly some drivers act like they got their license out of a box of Cracker Jacks. D.
