Additionally:
    Prodigy is GUI so it can't be read by screen readers.
    Prodigy's flat rate went up from $9.95 to $12.95 /mo. Oct 1
    Prodigy looks lousy on CGA.
    Prodigy should not even have to charge the users, considering there
        is an ad on every screen.
    Prodigy has engaged in censorship for several months.  I had a
        "blasphemous" message censored from one of the bulletin boards.
        That's right, blasphemous.  I suggested that Eden was a con and
        Adam and Eve were set up.  (I was responding to another msg.) No
        foul or abusive language, no name-calling, no 4-letter words.
    Prodigy denied BBS space to several groups including:  substance
        abuse recovery groups, atheists, lesbians and other
        non-conformists. (and handicapped for *quite* a while, except
        during the ADA controversy, when it was 'news')
    Prodigy has no provisions for off-line readers.

In short, Prodigy is not worth it.
