Ok, the only problem I have with the dos type command is if I have to stop and return to the file later. Are you familiar with the htype command? This one allows you to stop at any screen, and return to that screen later. It also has a search command which I don't like because it is case sensative, and it will not tqake you to the word you are looking for, it takes you to the screen it is on. Will sqwint get around some of these problems. I also have ralph, but the only advantage I can see to it is that it will tell me if a file is a wordperfect, or a dos file. I don't like it's continuous read command, because once you start it, you can't get out of it. I like to beable to stop if I wish to check something closer. Now, telling you this, should I take another look at the latest sqwint. I just don't want to duplicate utilities, and take up space on my disk. If something is better, I can delete the old one, then I am interested. Now, besides being partial because you wrote it, would it behove me to check it out again.
