Like you, I've had some close calls with drivers who decide to turn right on red lights. I wish the states would change the legislation, but the driving lobby out there is quite strong! Anyway, I've never been hit or anything, but I've started to walk across the street and hear a car whizz by. I think that is scary--especially when you know the light has changed to walk.
