     You mean they don't have cows that moo in cow town?

     Seriously, I don't think that I would like something that obnoxious, but why couldn't they have a bell that would ding once for one way, and twice for the other way.  True, you would have to learn how many dings were for which way, but if you were a traveler in that section, you would know.
