In the posting about English budgies, the poster mentioned that only a few chosen birds were allowed outside to fly ... does that mean there is an outdoor cage, or that some birds can actually be trusted to fly around outside and not fly away? (sort of like a homing pigeon) I do believe that flight is important for exercise and, therefore, health.
