Does anybody know one, which makes particularily crunchy, good tasting bread ?? Or can I just use any old yeast-dough ? Any tips or hints are greatly appreciated ! Thanks in advance, Arne P.S.: Incidently the best ever Baguettes, I had in San Sebastian, Northern Spain. Even the Croissants (?sp) where many times better than in Paris, for example. Maybe it should be renamed Spanish bread and not French bread. [ I concur about the bread in Spain, and it was especially nice to have a bakery on every other block, and government controlled bread prices. There is a french bread recipe, BTW, in rec.food.recipes digest #3 -aem]
