An associate of mine will be travelling to a jungle in Papua New Guinea
and is interested in buying a portable solar energy system to power his
IBM portable computer. The system will probably consist of a DC to 110VAC
at 1 or 2 amps converter, battery, and solar panels.

Does anyone have any experience with such a system or know of any
manufacturers of this type of equipment ?
