Thanks. > Craig Milo Rogers There have been no motor failures either in orbit or during normal flow processing. A "Flow" is the work required to check out the vehicle for the next flight and reconfigure it to the next payload. There have been some (expected) microswitch failures, but there is a torque limiter device in the motor driver to keep the motor from driving the mechinism too far. There also is included in the astronauts crew kit a wrench for closing the doors manually requiring an EVA.
