Hi networld:

     I am currently learning clipper S87 while maintaining an application
written by an external consulting firm.  This application is having major 
problem with losing data due to very flaky hardware!  I am wondering how 
good the commit() function is in clipper... that is should I be using it ????
Any caveat about the function????
