You shouldn't need a switch--just a $2 Y-plug with 2 RJ11 holes on one
side (one for modem, one for phone) and one RJ11 plug on the other (stick
it in your wall jack). Then just remember not to pick up the phone
when you're online or try to connect when you're talking to someone.
