They are great! Over slip, throughput went up from 2.0 Kbyte/sec to 2.5 Kbyte/sec on ftping /usr/bin/gigiplot. Overall feel is faster as well. I highly recommend trying a couple out if you are in the market for a modem for SLIP. Definately an improvement over modems with the 9600 baud throughput without compression. ftping a precompressed file went at 1.3 Kbytes/second vs 1.0 Kbyte/second with the 9600 baud based modem. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | Jacob M.
