Yes, true and we covered that via email. The trap that the fellow wasn't asking about U.S. phone lines caught me. However, in the U.S. I would stand by the statement that you are allowed to use 9600 on regular phone lines. I would imagine there are countries in existence where baud rate is legislated by some entity.
