This is mainly due to the need for revision control, and better administration of a large number of 100-200 page documents. Conversion of the old material would be useful, but more importantly now, we'd like reccomendations / experiences on what might be needed to offer a documentation preparation and printing environment on Unix. We have the following environment: 1. SCO Unix 3.2v2 2. X-windows/motif 3. Postscript printers Some combination of TeX, display preview using X, and print output to the postscipt devices is needed. Any suggestions on which TeX, print drivers, editor, and previewer is available for this environment. If you have a successful installation of any combination of these or other facilities, I'd be very pleased to hear of them. Thanks in advance, -Alex -- alex@netdev.comsys.com Communication Systems Research {cs.utexas.edu}!texsun!netdev!alex Dallas, Texas 75252
