I have inherited an RS6000. Users have been complaing about the time emacs
takes to load. Since I wasn't involved with building it on this system to
begin with, I haven't kept up with the discussions in this group re. RS6000.

Has anyone built a pre-loaded version of emacs 18.55 (or >) for the RS6000?
