  I've been trying to compile g++ 1.37.0 (want to get this running before
I install patches) and have succeeded with everything but the ld++ component,
which I understand is from the gcc distribution (currently running).

  The system here is a pmax/DS3100 running Ultrix 4.0. Any help?
