Hi all,

I have to develop s/w in C++ for a particular project.  I would like to know if
I would get away with using g++. Is it compatable?  Where would I get it? What
is the availablity of libraries/pre-existing functionality via C++?

I would be very grateful for any help with this as I am very naive. (oh yes, I
will be working on a Sun SPARC station. )
