DOS 4.0 can apparently detect hard drive serial numbers.

My questions:

  Are these really unique drive-specific serial numbers?

  Do ALL drives (floppy and/or hard) have serial numbers?

  How can they be accessed without DOS 3.x?

  With Turbo Pascal?
