For what it's worth: Borland's Pascal forum on CIS (GO BORPRO) has code
to enable plugging TPas 6.0 into the TC++ IDE, so that you need have
only one of the IDEs on your disk. (I presently have TC++ on my shelf
rather than my disk, and TPas 6.0 on order rather than either shelf or
disk, so don't know personally if this is really an advantage, and
whether the code from CIS is actually needed.)

(Since I'm sending, anyway: ) I just wanted to be sure that you realise
that there is now a significan additional difference: the inclusion of
TPCX with the Pro package. For many of us, TPCX is going to be a real
blessing, allowing the more rapid compilation of programs which
previously bogged down in linking, required linking to disk, selective
deactivation of debugging info, etc.

It's just too bad that Borland is forcing many of us to take second
copies of TD/TASM/TD in order to get TPCX. (I'm referring to folks who
have TC++ or the "Tools" package with TD 2.0.)
