I have a CS masters' student, an Air Force officer, who
will be stationed in the Los Angeles area during the
spring.  He will be working with me on a project while he
is there (as an independent study).  Local access to
e-mail would be very helpful.  I have talked to several
computing center administrators in the LA area about this and
have not been able to set up a `guest' account.  At one
school (I've forgotten which one), I was told that he could
get a `guest' account if some local faculty member would
sponsor him.  Would someone be willing to sponser this
student -- or offer a better suggestion?  If you have
suggestions or help, please reply to:
