Ideally it would allow A/D sampling at CD and DAT rates, have digital I/O to allow straight digital interfacing to CD and DAT machines, and have software to allow graphical manipulation of samples which could be stored and played from the hard drive. I know of one for the MAC called Digidesign Sound Tools which looks like an excellent package but would like to avoid the high cost of buying a MAC II. mike.weitz@canremote.uucp
