The mailing could tell Lotus' victim about the information Marketplace contains about him, explain the privacy issues raised, and include stamped envelopes, and possibly pre-printed letters of protest for the victim to sign, to the victim's congressman, senator, and to Lotus. Companies that maintain databases, especially those that make the information available to others, should be required by law to send people complete copies of their records each time the records are changed. -- Bob Rogers bob.rogers@stpaul.ncr.com NCR Network Products Div.
