Yes, I know everyone says not to do it, but when was the last time your mail got lost? If USENIX won't take cash ("This note is legal tender for all debts public and private" notwithstanding) mail it to a (trustworthy) friend in the US and ask her/him to write a check. (I have had friends from the UK write me cheques on their British accounts to pay for hotel reservations in Scotland.)
