CALL FOR DISCUSSION - please respond

NAME:
	comp.lang.basic

STATUS:
	unmoderated

CHARTER:

	BASIC went from as learning language to a toy language (apple, commore, etc...)
but is now a real programming language with a lot of possibilite with powerful
compiler (QuickBasic, turboBasic, trueBasic, etc ...). There is even an 
implemantation of QuickBasic on UNIX sold by BASMARK. 
	This group will be intended to everyone using Basic as a programming tool on 
any platform and to discuss and exchange programming technics.

WHY A NEW GROUP:
	Actually, there is no group about Basic programming. Basic programmer has to
post their questions in C or OS.PROGRAMMER newgroups where it shouldn't belong

SCHEDULE:
1.	DISCUSSION
	The discussion period begin on friday, november 19.
	It ends on Sunday, december 19.
