The .ZA (South Africa) top level domain has just been registered with SRI.

The two MX forwarders are at cis.ohio-state.edu and plains.nodak.edu.  Mail
will be picked up via uucp dialup and forwarded to quagga.ru.ac.za, where
local sub-distribution will take place.

To begin with, there is only one second level domain hierarchy, namely
.ac.za.  However, we are hoping to establish a .co.za hierarch in the near
future.

Note that the original 'hack' method of mailing to South African sites
via Fidonet will remai in place.

I would appreciate a few (!) test messages from sites on various networks
to try and establish if the links are working correctly.  Mail to
postmaster@quagga.ru.ac.za will be acknowledged.
