Basically that it comes from CMU, that OSF has adopted it for distributed file system (sharing). The questions I have are: 1) are people using it in a "production" sense (I assume this to be true at CMU, but anywhere else)? 2) if #1 above, how this provided? Did you get it from CMU, or from a (system or software) vendor? Thanks for any info on the state of AFS!
