If you're terribly interested, I'm thinking of selling my A590, with the
WD93028-X-SLOW drive removed and replaced by an ST-157N-1 drive, 48meg,
28ms.  Also has two megs of ram, negotiable.
 
The WD93028 ran about 160K/sec.  The ST157 runs about 460K/sec.
 
Now the sad part:  My A590 cost $1000 new (Canadian) and the drive was
about $500 (Canadian as well)... So I'd need about $1100 in Canadian
funds.  Something like $935 US.  I assume you could likely do better than
that.  I wonder if you get a duty rebate when it goes BACK across the
US border :-) ?
