Hey, who said the every configuration had to make sense? If that were true, there wouldn't be any el cheapo .41mm dot pitch "VGA" monitors. :-) Seriously, there are two reasons that I can think of for _selling_ a 32-bit accellerator w/o 32-bit memory: 1) It allows one to use an FPU. 2) It makes your base price lower than your competition's, even if the base configuration isn't really usable.
