The correct fix (from Commodore) for the rev 4.2/HiTek missing character problem is to remove those two caps. Any reputable Amiga service center can do it for you. It's a very simple mod, you basicly just break the caps off where their leads join the circuit board. The SetCPU fix is for the timing problems with the earier cherry keyboards, and is a software fix to a firmware problem.
