Summary: What's it mean? Message-ID: <8002@ucdavis.ucdavis.edu> Date: 21 Nov 90 18:45:53 GMT Sender: usenet@ucdavis.ucdavis.edu Reply-To: zerkle@iris.ucdavis.edu (Dan Zerkle) Organization: U.C. Davis - Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Lines: 17 A friend of mine complains that two times when she tried to boot up her A500 (+external floppy +512k expansion in belly), it blinked the caps lock light, and refused to boot up properly. I don't have the full details, but does anyone know what is going on from this description? Further, I think there is a service in the US called "Commodore Express" for A500 owners. She's still under warrantee, but the nearest dealer is > 50 miles away, and she has no car. What is the best strategy for getting her machine operational again? She's worried that it will die completely the night before she has a paper due. I'm worried too. -Dan Dan Zerkle zerkle@iris.eecs.ucdavis.edu (916) 754-0240 Amiga...
