Lines: 25 Hi Netters! Could someone send me any pointers to info that goes into greater detail about the Amiga disk drives i.e. Descriptions of MFM, GCR, Sync/Index pulses. etc. I have the hardware reference manual but I didn't find the section on disk drives useful. (I couldn't understand it!) Also does anyone know who is responsible for copy-protection on disks. Do I, the software developer, need to protect the game that I am writing. Or do I leave it to the publisher? Thanks for any help. Please don't send me *FLAMES* about the ills of disk copy protection. In the UK piracy is a serious problem in the games industry and I don't wish to get ripped off after putting in so much work in my game. However reasonable alternatives to copy-protection will be gladly received if sent only by E-MAIL. (don't clog up the net unnecessarily) That's all LIAKET ALI e-mail: la@doc.ic.ac.uk
