Message-ID: <9011231436.AA26242@richter.mit.edu> Date: 23 Nov 90 14:36:26 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The Internet Lines: 15 I believe that the DN3000 device drivers for disk only recognize certain models of the Ompti disk controllers (the 8800, 8810, and 8610 are the controllers listed by the /systest/ssr_util/jumper program for the DN3000 disk controllers -- other controllers listed for the DN3500/4000/4500 include the 8621-1C and 8621-1D and the Western Digitial WD7000). Unless your controller is H/W compatible with the Ompti models, I don't think the OS will recognize it. -- David Krowitz krowitz@richter.mit.edu (18.83.0.109) krowitz%richter.mit.edu@eddie.mit.edu krowitz%richter.mit.edu@mitvma.bitnet (in order of decreasing preference)
