For those who were asking about LDC displays for their //c's:
I saw an ad for one made by ATOR. The ad is pretty old. The
cost was $595. The display was full-height instead of the normal
half-height size. I called their 800 number but it was out
of service so it's probably that the company is too, but
you could do a little looking if you're interested:

The ad must be from 1986 or so. I wrote to them back then and they sent a
brochure. The letter stated that they were having production problems and that
the product would be delayed. Apparently it was delayed permanently, I have
seen no further ads since then. I think the technology was too leading edge at
the time and they did not have the neccessary backing to make a go of it,
particularly given the rather small market, Apple II portables. 

Funny, but I only threw out the stuff during this year's spring cleaning.
