Lines: 17 I just tried to replace my Chinon SS drive in my SF354 with a Toshiba DD drive. I have to twist the ribbon cable to get it oriented correctly. It spun and the led lit red. But I got the drive not repsonding alert box. I tried desktop format, and _immediately_ got the disk is write protected alert. I saw no jumper that I could identify as such on the circut board in the SF354. What am I missing? What do I need to do to get it to work? Also, can I just get a 34 pin ribbon cable with the approprate connectors to fit the mirror-imaged port locations on the Toshiba? Where would I get such? What would I call it to the salesperson? Thank you! ************************************************************************** Zeitgeist Busters!
