THE APPEAL WAS CLOSED IN APRIL. He vastly exceeded all targets, to the point where the excessive mail had become more than an embarrassment and all concerned have asked that NO MORE CARDS BE SENT. He and his mother appeared on UK television to ask people to stop. When I last heard, during the summer, the boy's condition (cancer?) was in remission and he was comparatively well. Russ
