Message-ID: Date: 21 Nov 90 23:32:27 GMT Sender: daemon@athena.mit.edu (Mr Background) Organization: MIT Project Athena Lines: 14 I'm trying to track down some problems with applications which hang for a while (30sec-5min) somewhere in the kernel; I suspect it's in the PTY code. However, the WCHAN output from ps alx is not very useful. What I'd like to do is the equivalent of the $p command to get on a particular process' stack in ADB on the VAX, but I can't find anything in dbx which is similar. This is on a DECstation 3100 running Ultrix 3.1. Any hints? -- John Kohl or Digital Equipment Corporation/Project Athena (The above opinions are MINE. Don't put my words in somebody else's mouth!)
