On a couple of occasions I've lost data when my Portfolio batteries
flag.  This morning, for example, I got a low battery warning when I
tried to save my diary file.  I replaced the batteries and turned the
system on -- it was hung in the save procedure.  By the time I regained
control, the diary file was lost (empty) and the clock was reset.
Other files seem OK.

Any ideas on how to avoid this?
