If you're not familiar w/ these commands, you'd be much better off using sam (hp's sysadmin program) to add the drive. Sam's menu driven and relatively monkey-proof. Fire it up and go to the "File Systems" section and then into "Add a Hard Disk Drive." -- Paul B.
